A-Orange golden with minimal head
S-Floral with Citrus and Tropical fruits, Oranges
T-Brooze hit me right away followed by the sweetness, very off balanced. Does not taste like it smells. The hops were the last thing to hit me.
M-Medium bodied med carbonation smooth swallow
O-Glad I only bought a single. Can't remember the last time I poured a beer out but I had to drain pour this Ape back to the swamp it came from

Appearance- Has a hazy orange, tangerine color with chunks of sediment floating around. Very thin, foamy head produced.

Aroma- Heavy on tart grapefruit, lime, and pine aromas. Sweet caramel malt hiding in the background too.

Taste- Big punch on bitterness upfront with pine and grapefruit flavors balanced with subtle cracker malt flavors. Towards the end it shows of it sweeter side with a smooth caramel malt and some lingering citrus hop flavors.

Mouthfeel- Medium to full bodied beer with a well balanced malt presence that coats the tongue but dissapates rather quickly. Not cloying or over malty by any means.

Overall- Tons of bitter hop flavors in this with grapefruit and pine really shining through. Not sure I'm drinking the same beer as everyone else, but there's no way this is a "poor" beer as the ratings would indicate. Maybe this has gone through a recipe change, but I notice a lot more positive reviews as of recent dates for this beer. If I lived in Florida I would definitely pick this up on occasion. A solid DIPA overall. (84/100)
