The beer is brown/amber dark color... very dark caramel color. The head is creamy. The aroma is smoke (roasted malts) caramel. The taste is smoke caramel again. Although the smoke is faint. The finish is bitter. The caramel comes back at the end. Medium body with medium carbonation in the mouth. Not a bad beer, not extraordinary.

I never really tend to buy these beers from Microbrasserie de l'île d'Orléans because i just hate the labels....I know it's not a good way of seeing things but sometimes its enough to help you make up your mind on what to buy or not.
A friend brought this for me while having a raclette party.
Served this beer in a champagne flute...don't know why I did that but the appearance is great very dark red color like caramel with a healthy, very squeezed white foam. This bottle was opened last night and today it looks good as new, still loads of carbonation in there.
Put your nose in there and smell that hoppy sweetness very floral, folowed by rich torified malt and little hints of toffee
First sip is packed with bitterness so let your mouth get used to it and sip again..still quite floral and alot on the hop side I get a little taste of citrus fruit like grappe fruit peels, the general mouthfeel is very smooth and easy going down. The bitter side of this beer will stick for a few minutes.
Not my favorite type of beer, but I think this one is well done and once again happy its from Québec.
Cheers lads
