Beer is a slightly hazy golden with a fairly light head. Smell is nice and yeasty along with some tropical fruit. Taste is refreshingly bitter and almost tart, with a sweetish finish. It's not bad. It reminds me a little bit of Unibroue's Fin du Monde, but a much crisper and more drinkable version. The mouthfeel is good. The beer is well carbonated and quite drinkable. All in all, a fine beer. Crisp and satisfying, not terribly complex. A solid good beer.

Taste notes from a comparison with 4 other witbiers from Quebec. *Spoiler* It was the worst.

Appearance - Huge white bubbles that disappear very quickly. Nothing left after a few second, not even a small lacing on the side. It is dark for a witbier. Something along pale amber.

Smell - Nada. I don't get anything. I shake it. Still nothing. Of course, no bubbles coming up so it's not helping. The only faint notes I get are something along the lines of sourness. Not the tart you expect from wheat. The sourness you get from infected old beers. This is not looking good.

Taste - The first flavor I get is hop flavor, English hops. Than sweetness from the malt, a bit of bread and toast. I also get a bit of spices in there. No citrus and no wheat tart.

Mouthfeel - Of course, little carbonation and medium mouthfeel.

Overall - This is not a witbier. Maybe I ended up with an old bottle but still, I can't see how a fresh version of this beer can be something close to a witbier.
