16oz can, tulip, canned 4/18/23.
Shades of sunrise and a nice classic sticky white head.
White pepper, green grapes, lychee, tangerine, papaya. Really strong and tropical aroma.
Bitter, papaya, bitter orange. Again tropical. Nice medium-high bitterness running through it all.
Medium body, medium carbonation, and slightly creamy.
Really nice IPA here.

Slim like. Tall Boy dated 11.19.21 so 2 months old. Poured into a West Passage RI shaker pint. Logs in at 6%, my happy place for an IPA. Not a hazy, a standard American IPA I'd say. Full bodied, balanced, tasty. That's 3 of my main boxes!
Haven't drank a Mayflower in quite a while, and they always brewed fine beer. Maybe too many new places to check out. But quality never goes outta style. They're back on my radar.

Picked this beer up a few weeks back in Williamsburg as I had never seen anything from Mayflower in this neck of the woods before, let alone heard from them. Plenty bright and sweet, this was a serviceable American IPA that was easy to drink and somehow checked off all of the boxes in the process although there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about this but for an early summer night such as this, it was worth kicking back with!
This had a golden hue to it that was slightly hazy, quietly radiant, and topped off with plenty of spongy head that settled unevenly because of the big bubbles in it. Very little lacing was left behind as I worked my way through this with just a bit of suds lingering above the top of the liquid. Lemon pledge, tangy citrus, and grass filled the subdued nose as they were also all present in the taste. Some orange rind and herbal notes came into play as this warmed up with plenty of Biscuit and wheat in the malt to give this the body that it needed to round out the tangier and hoppier notes.
Plenty of balance here although the carbonation could have been a bit more present and there was some puckering stickiness left on my lips after this went down. It complemented the light presence of hop oils fine as they were a reminder that indeed, this was an IPA. I only say that because it was nearly impossible to detect the alcohol here as I could have easily mistaken this for an American Pale Ale. Canned on 5/21 with "A WHOLE NW!" written above it, I loved the pun as "NW" could have stood for New World or Northwest hops. This was a basic take on the style that was unoffensive and well-crafted and had there been another here, I could have cracked it open after finishing this. Worth a go once in a group setting as it's hard to see anyone disliking this beer.

This was orange sherbet in beer form. Tantalizing your tastebuds and dazzling your mouth with a citrus overload. A seamlessly smooth beverage with a great tang and big body. While a little heavy, once in a while a voyage to the New World is a trip you should take.
