2/12/19 very fresh
Pours a light honey cloudy color with 4F head. Excellent head retention.
Aroma: not well defined- earthy, citrus.
MF: very pungent. This adds a lot to the beer.
Taste: citrus and earthy. Not pronounced, but good citrus flavor.
I have enjoyed other styles from brewery. The look , head retention, and pungency are excellent. I would like to see a stronger, more pronounced citrus flavor.

Cloudy, gold to amber color. Moderate, but lasting head provides few streaks for lace.

I get an interesting beef stew background to the mild pale malt, alcohol, and floral hop nose.

The alcohol and bittering hop dominate the taste. Yes, the soft pale malt makes a brief appearance, but it fades completely and never shows again after the swallow. The carbonation shows up early in the tasting but the heavy body mitigates this. The aftertaste features tropical fruit and black pepper from the hop.

From the 16 oz. can dated 06/20/19. Sampled on July 5, 2019.

it looks decent with its amber-orange pour, modest head, and somewhat lingering white head.

The aroma is fresh for sure but it is also bready and floral. Bready malts take over more than the hops considering that this beer is supposed to be.

Medium and smooth mouthfeel.

There is a sort of muted fruity taste here but it is otherwise pretty basic with grainy sweetness and a mild finish, It just doesn't make me stand up and applaud.

Wow I picked this because of my newly found Cape Cod ancestors and also because there are just so many choices had to throw a dart. But this is a FIND! When choice fatigue sets sometimes throwing a dart works, and this worked! Delicious!! Hopefully will cure the common cold.
Tasty! Different from my usual juicy hazy, will invest in a 4pack next time at Norfolk Craft Beer. Intoxicating for sure wish I had more

My phone ate the first review. Plenty of citrus, but plenty bready. Some grassyness. Nose and body are lacking. Easy to drink, but over just alright. Lovely lacing and good head retention

Canned 2/12/19
Pours a giant foamy creamy dense head that fades semi slowly, very hazy murky deep orange color, bit of lacing

Nose tons of citrus and tropical fruits, tangerine, orange sherbet, pineapple, mango, there's some strawberry as well interestingly, more mango pineapple juice, hint of doughy malt, some peachy stone fruit

Taste lots of juicy hops, some berry out front, interesting generic berry and maybe strawberry, big juicy peach as well, stone fruit, into mango and a little pineapple as well, mild tangerine citrus, plenty of creamy soft mild doughy malt to prop up the hops, very little bitterness late, soft semi sweet finish, lingering berry and tropical

Mouth is med bod but soft creamy juicy and a little velvety, nice creamy medium high carb, only slightest hint of alcohol

Overall this is a fun beer, nice take on NEIPA, great soft feel, lots of nice hop characters, well done

Alright, this is a new DDH double IPA from Mayflower featuring Citra and Amarillo hops and named after two brothers who boarded the Mayflower from England. They also had sisters named Patience and Love, so you know their parents were all for aphoristic names. What do you mean, "Wrestling isn't an aphorism"? Get out of here.

Pours a deep amber/medium orange color with a solid haziness and a dense head of eggshell-white foam measuring up to about three fingers at its highest point. Excellent legs here and some nice lace as the foam recedes to about a finger-and-a-half after five or so minutes in my glass. The intense opacity of this beer is definitely highlighted by its darker color when compared to most NEIPAs. I assume some specialty malts were used in this brew to give it that appearance, but we'll see.

The nose is herbal, leafy, and dank with a strong component of tropical fruit laid out as an undercurrent throughout the experience. Sweaty passion fruit, bright pineapple and lightly-catty guava/mango appear prominent in the main body of the beer, with some lighter notes of citrus poking out here and there. I can detect a bit of caramel malt for sure, lending credence to my prediction of specialty grains based on the darker-than-usual color of this beer. Those aspects aren't intruding, per se, but I do notice them, and the sweetness seemingly melds well with the dry-hop additions.

My first sips detail essentially what I expected... leafy and grassy hoppiness backended by semi-sweet malty notes backing up the proceedings. Noticeable tropical fruit backbone is present with multiple focused sips, but this overall seems like a bit of a malty DIPA to me. I would definitely like a little bit more crisp tropical and/or citrus fruitiness to be present. The main thrust of the beer is chewy and oat and/or wheat-forward with a graininess that lingers into the finish of each sip. Flavors of pineapple and mango meld with some overly-sweet maltiness and intense yeast-driven esters, making this a bit tougher to drink than some other bigger NEIPAs. Would definitely prefer a more lithe beer, for sure. Not bad, though.

16 oz can into chalice. Dated 7/17/19.
Look is nice hazy golden orange. Smell is sweet tropical fruit, citrus, orange. Taste follows nose and stays sweet throughout. Feel is fairly light. Overall a good NE IPA that I would drink again but probably not seek out.

Decently good DIPA. Not doing much for me, but still good maybe I was expecting more. Hints of citrus and cantaloupe but feel a lot of oat and earthy tastes. Not getting as much piney as was described but the oats and wheat used seems to dominate.
