Not a fan of the style in general but here it goes:

Poured form a 12 oz bottle into a nonic tumbler- pours a clear golden strawy color with 2.5 fingers of creamy white head. Has great retention, minimal splashes of lacing. Visibly effervescent.

Nose is pretty round and wheat-y. A little yeast as well. Appealing but nothing special.

Taste is more complex than the smell- of course there's some round wheat notes mid-palate and in the finish, but up front there's a little pale barley, and a touch of hop bitterness. Pretty clean.

Mouthfeel is nice- very light body, moderate to full carbonation. This is a very well-crafted, very light, low ABV summer beer. That's all that I would recommend it for but it is summer now so enjoy.

A-Pours a brilliantly golden color. Millions and millions of relentless bubbles rise in swarms to the massive bleach white head. Head retains masterfully. The consistency of the head is sudsy.

S-Aroma of sweet breadiness, grain and floral hops. Nose is also lightly yeasty. Plenty of strength in the nose; I find that many Blonde or Golden Ales are very lackluster in the aroma category. This brew has enough scent to make me happy to take a sip.

T-Peppery at first. The sweet dough is pleasant and soft. Clean floral and grassy hops on the finish. A very sessionable flavor, but I would like a little more intensity here. Still, for such a light brew, this has plenty to enjoy. All the flavors mesh well together and I truly enjoy each sip more than the last.

M-More body than one may expect, but it is still light enough to make a six-pack disappear in one session. As bubbly as it looks but the bubbles aren’t abrasive, just very plentiful. A bit buttery on the palate.

O/D-I generally enjoy Mayflower’s brews (their Spring Hop is one of my favorite local beers of all time). This is a pleasant little brew that has enough kick to keep me interested. Perfect for warm days like today. A nice little brew, won’t light your pants on fire, but tasty is the bottom-line here.

Very light golden color. Fast fading head, and lots of bubbles rising through the beer. Crisp, clean aroma. Lightly floral and spicy. Basically, smells like "beer". Tastes like beer too. Drinkable, unremarkable, unmemorable. Maybe would have been a better choice on a hot, sunny afternoon.

This beer when poured has a golden color body with a nice fizzy white head. The smell has a nice grain smell to it. The taste is very well balanced with hops and malt. Has a little bit of a minty taste on the back of the tongue. It has a nice and smooth mouth feel and is a easy drinker.

Had this beer at the brewery during a brewery tour. Pours a nice white head and a very clear golden body. Smells sweet and somewhat metallic. Nice sweet malt flavor. Very light and spritzy mouthfeel. Very drinkable, not my favorite style but a very good representation of it. I would certainly go for this if I want something mid winter as a break from the heavy stuff.

Bottle poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint. Beautiful, clear gold body with a puffy white head. Very very clear with a lot of fast moving bubbles.

Very balanced nose with a good bready, grainy overtone. Some light fruit scent as well.

Taste is well balanced as well. Really crisp. Hops and Malts are not dull at all, they really compliment each other well. Fruit and floral on the back end with a good tasty finish.

It would be evident if there were something amiss here, and there isn't. This is a really good beer for a day at the bar, a tailgate, or at home. Really refreshing and tasty.

12oz bottle in October, Dad bought it, he only likes golden/amber but atleast hes supporting craft beer.

A: Very pale golden color, a bit cloudy (semi filtered?), little to no lacing.

S: Sweet white bread,

T: Sweet malty "pilsnery" up front, has a grassy bitter hop finish, reminds of spring hop.

M: Thick for style, could use more carbonation though.

O: For what it is its good so I should probably rate it higher, hard to get too excited though, honestly for the calories I'd probably rather have a light beer.
