One of the few beers I tried at the Poorhouse. They have a total of 18 on tap at one time and most on this site are no longer available but maybe if more people suggest them they might bring them back on tap.
Had this on tap during their happy hour (3 dollar pints)
A - Rosey in color which reminded me of fresh blackberries squeezed. The lacing was pretty creamy and the head was about a half inch.
S - slight at first but as it warmed a bit the berries made their way to your nose. A slight wheat smell was balanced in their as well.
T - Actually quite good. I expected more sour since most of the fruit beers I have tried have been but their really is a lot of flavor in this brew
M - Creamy and delicious. I easily drank this beer with little beer bitterness. It was hard to believe it was even beer since it had little hop bite.
D - I will defiantly be back to this brewpub to try this again. Not sour but not that sweet so you know your drinking a beer. It is so smooth though you may be able to slam down a few before the ABV actually hits you. What a great beer.

Pours a murky brownish red. Nose is blackberries over blackberries. Surprise. Flavor really catches the essence of blackberries, IMO. Sweet, yes. But there is that slightly bitter and earthy tone that blackberries can bring. It's nice and the flavor is consistent. Feel is smooth and it's very easy to drink. At first it seemed a tad bitter, but that went away about halfway through. But like I said, I think that is just a natural part of the blackberry flavor.

A- Translucent dark grapefruit-pink body served in a pint glass with a very thin white head. Head quickly subsides and leaves nothing behind. Body color is very interesting.
S- Big sweet fruity smell with some breadiness in the background.
T- Initial taste is full of big blackberry flavor. It is not overly sour or overly sweet-just a nice authentic blackberry flavor. A yeasty breadiness balances the background. Flavor in consistent the whole way through.
M- Low carbonation and light yeasty mouthfeel. Not thin or watery.
D- This is a pretty good fruit beer. Flavor is authentic and not overpowering with sweetness. I probably could have had another pint but I wanted to try something else.
