Decanted from a 16.9 oz (500 ml) into a Weissbier vase; batch code JF BB K BF, but no production dates.
A: Pours a dark straw to light golden color with an exuberant, foamy, bone-white head (>one inch) with good retention and some lacing.
S: Aromas of fresh toast, honey suckle, and spice. More peppery as it warms.
T: Sweet and malty nicely, but not entirely offset by light bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with solid carbonation. Creamy.
O: Refreshing and enjoyable. My first Dortmunder was a positive experience.

Pours straw colored and clear with a good head. Nice sourdough in the aroma and flavor with hops on the front in. Finishes a little light and crisp. Medium-light bodied. Decent brew.

500 ml brown bottle served in a Creature Comforts glass.
Pours with a slightly hazy, golden body, with moderate visible carbonation rising to a modest size, semi-durable white head.
Aroma: standard German pils.
Flavor: well balanced with a lingering array of hop-based flavors.
Feel: medium-light body with medium carbonation.

Dark yellow with white head. Smell is of faint malts and sourdough. A little on the weak side. I wish the scent was a little stronger. The taste is clean, simple, and balanced. Nice hops upfront followed by smooth malts with medium body. Overall, solid and drinkable, but not especially interesting.

L: honey yellow/ thin head/ minimal carbonation
S: Honey sweet bread, light orange
T: Honey with oranges and malt upfront and a light plummy finish.
F: Thin feel with decent enough carbonation that makes this really easy to drink a lot of them.

Overall: A light mix between pilsner and lager with a very unexpected dark fruit finish that you'd come to expect from a darker style of beer.

Pours two fingers of foamy head on a clear golden body.
The aroma is dry grains with a little fruit. Nice.
The taste has a mild bitterness then tends sweeter middle to end.
The texture is crisp with soft edges.
It's enjoyable.

Look - Light colored, light golden with slight white head.

Smell - Smells like sweet brett... grassy, malty.

Taste - Crisp, simple flavors. No complicated stuff here: grains, malt, yeast, honey gives it a slight sweetness.

Feel - Smooth, crisp, refreshing, delicious.

Overall - Easy drinking here, folks.

Best before 4/13/16.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with cracker, grass, hay, and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice balance between the grain and grassy qualities all around.

Serving type: bottle.

Clean, Biting, Refreshing

Steeped in tradition and very true to style, crisp dryness is met by a well built malt foundation. Mild biscuity tone lens more of a bready flavor, clean from start to finish. No worries knocking this one back. Sufficient hop bitterness but we hoped for a bit more flavor to unfold. Regardless, great drinking all around.

Clear golden brew with a fine-grained white foam in the New Belgium snifter. White cake and honey aroma. More honey taste. Intriguing flavors that are not the usual lager taste. It's quite grainy at first sip, but then I think of banana cake. Warm and malty with a touch of honey.

Really an interesting brew with so many sweet sensations. A brief kiss of hops and a tangy finish, but not much actual bitterness. Dated 02/10/15. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Whidbey Beer Works in Oak Harbor, Washington.

brass gold, white head, some tatters of lace. Aroma of Faint Noble Hops. Mild cracker taste, touch of sour, clean finish. So easy to drink that it is instantly forgettable. Beer.
