22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 2/19/17.

Pours a hazy garnet color, with a one inch head and some foamy lacing. Very nice aroma. Smells of malt, cherries, plums, raisins, grapes, a little red wine, some dates, light figs and brown sugar. The taste follows along- malt, cherries, some caramel and red wine, plums, raisins, figs. It's a little sweet, but not cloying. No hop bitterness detected. Smooth, a good level of carbonation, a solid, but lighter body for the style.

Really good aroma, very good overall. Very enjoyable. Could be a little more intense in the flavors. Seems more like an English style, to me. This was about six months in the bottle when I had it, maybe should have let it sit a little longer.

Pours a very nice looking reddish orange, with an off white head. Gone in a flash.
Fruit, caramel and malt on the nose.
Taste is a bit sweet and some tropical fruit.
Overall a decent example. I purchased two, I'll revisit this in a year or so.

The look of this beer is amber red. It is also bright and carbonated. The smell of the beer is very fruity. The taste of the beer is strong and a little fruity. The taste however does linger at all. The feel is lite and it dissipates quickly. There is also a little carbonation. Finally, the beer is good but could be fuller and it also seems a little too alcoholy.

Had on tap at a local restaurant. A beer that looks and smells great but doesn't taste as good as one would expect after looking at and smelling it. Lot of the malt and caramel flavors I want in a barleywine, but a slight thin nature brings it down.
