Served on tap at the brewery.

The beer is a golden straw color that is brilliantly clear. Probably clearer than any other IPA that I have seen. The beer has a long lasting bright white head that leaves lacing all down the glass.

The aroma has a hint of sweet bread-like malt, but is dominated by grapefruit and pine. The mouthfeel is medium with probably slightly below medium carbonation.

The beer displays a smooth, somewhat sweet, white-bread like malt flavor that is present for the entire swallow. About half-way through, flavors of grapefruit and pine become dominant, followed by a fairly dry finish with the hop flavors still left dancing on the tongue.

This IPA is substantially bitter yet still noticeably smooth. The lack of harsh bitterness and the dry finish make this extremely drinkable.

I received this beer from a trade. It came in a blank 22oz. bottle with a little sticker that read "BrickStone Hop-Injection". What a pleasent surprise. The previous reviewer nailed it. I couldn't find this beer listed so just entered it here. A top star IPA. Notes of grapefruit and pine. My favorite tastes in an IPA. 5 stars now after having more sips.
