A - Poured a slightly cloudy pale golden colour with a 2cm rocky white head that falls away fairly quickly.
S - An obvious banana note & some spicy phenols.
Bit of wheat malt comes through.
T - Some banana also in the smell along with some spicy, earthy notes.
M - Light to medium bodied, pretty high carbonation. Fairly smooth but there is a slight tartness towards the end.
D - A decent Hefeweizen. Nothing to get too excited about but worth trying if you see it.

This review is based on old notes. I will fill in the details if I try it again.

Appearance - 3.0
Head was small for a wheat beer, the colour cloudy and pale.

Smell - 3.0
Mostly banana in the smell, although not overpowering.

Taste - 3.5
Less banana in the taste which is good. Reasonably tasty.

Mouthfeel - 3.0
Not as creamy as many better wheat beers.

Drinkability - 3.5
Interesting enough, but I wouldn't want a second. Many at the pub were choosing this over the pils and pale, which was interesting.

OVERALL - 3.25
Not a personal favourite, too much banana personality for my liking. This was quite interesting, and makes for a worthwhile alternative to more mainstream beers. Price was decent too.
