I got a can of this beer from the brewery whilst in the area for my daughter's D3 National Gymnastics Meet. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had slight charred malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink sweet caramel malt and subtle char or roasted malt presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

7/7...pours reddish copper with fast white foam layer. Bready toffee caramel nose. Roasted amber flavor backed by a firm tasty hop. A little sweet but finishes strong. Solid and then some. Very good.

Poured into 34oz mug. Clear orange-amber, with a nice white head that doesn't seem to fade at all, and leaves lots of sticky delicate lacing when it does.
Smells nutty, bit sweet, with earthy and herbal hops overtop of the malt.
Taste is nutty caramel malt followed up nicely by a nice dose of bitter hops. Not much real hop flavor, but it's still nice and balanced.
Mouthfeel is good, subtle carbonation and smooth, medium-thin feel.
Overall, a solid drinkable amber ale. Nice balance of malt and hops, simple but well done.
