The beer pours a hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a light and refreshing pale and wheat malt scent along with an excellent hefe yeast nose. It's fruity with a touch of citrus. The banana/clove character is well pronounced. The taste is good as well. It's smooth and flavorful with lots of delicious yeast character. It's fruity and refreshing; an easy drinker. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a tasty beer in the true German hefeweizen tradition.

Nice hefe from HH! Tons of that classic banana and that hint of clove that adds a spicy character to round out the sweetness. Great, long lasting head that is packed with all the aromatics. Big bodied, but with a smooth, soft carbonation to keep things poppin'. Love this style and this is a truly great example of it. The best local (Finger Lakes, NY) hefeweizen I've yet had!

A-Clear yellow orange, some carbonation, two finger head.
S-Lemon, clove, banana, wheat.
T-Similar to the nose. Clove and banana to start. Some lemon and wheat and other citrus.
M-Lighter and nice carbonation.
O-A good hefeweizen, from a local brewery. A needed pick up if passing through and wanting to sample locals.
