Pours a finger and half of head on a clear golden colored body.
The aroma is lemon, pine and grapefruit. Simple, but good.
The taste starts clean, moderate bitterness in the middle, lemon zest and finishes with a dry bitter note. Good balance throughout.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A solid, on the bitter side, pale ale.

Had this while waiting for the most undefeated beer trader of all time. Plus Moonraker wasn't open yet. All their CO2 was busted on everything else except this.

Pours nice, plenty golden with lots of clarity. Dry hopping apparent, grapefruit, pine, sharpness. Simcoe seems there.

Taste, refreshing, easy to drink, light pale malts barely toasted, maybe even honey too. Hops are evident, simcoe, chinook, cascade would be my guess, maybe even magnum. I could drink quite a few of these

Had this after a mountain trail run in the Sierra Nevada. Maybe there's a bigger head because we're at 6,200' elevation (?)Huge head as poured by the bartender, on tap. Lovely golden glow when backlit by late afternoon sun. Mild hoppy citrus aroma. Wonderful flavor, roasted grain and hops in good balance, has a bit more bit than the pale ales I've tasted lately--it is part way to an IPA in bitterness. Mouth feel is a perfect tinglyness. Very refreshing and enjoyable all around. This is the first time I have sampled this ale, and I highly recommend it!
