Pours a clear amber with nice head that holds on. Big malt and grain smell. Taste is caramel with a light coco flavor. Mouthfeel is so smooth and very dry. Great drinking beer that's in a can, really, what could be better.

Overall very nice beer could drink a few of these and they would go great with brats. Being spring... pack this one in for your MLB home opener. GO BREW CREW

The name of this beer is Nut Brown. It is an American Brown Ale, I verified this with the website of the brewery to be sure I had it correctly classified after my visit. The beer was light brown in the glass with a nice rim of foam and lacing on the surface. The character of the beer is definitely closer to a "straight brown ale" than a "nut brown ale" but there are nut tones and flavors to be sure. The smooth maltiness of the beer causes you to believe its just a brown ale. When you get to the finish and the aftertaste there is wonderful flavor that makes you feel as if you are eating walnuts. The taste is literally like eating nuts rather than drinking a "nut beer." There are some tones that come across to me like hazelnut as well. I don't feel I can impress enough upon any readers and potential drinkers how unique that "real nut" quality was. I was very impressed. The beer was nice and smooth. It was served at a temperature warmer than I am accustomed to with draft beer, but it was pleasant for sure.

Very good! Slightly high on roasted barley bitterness, but otherwise near perfect!

Nut Brown pours a transparent brown color with a small, barley lacing head. Weak aromas of earth. The taste is watery, with some earthy undertones and finish sweet and crisp. Watery body. Overall, its a good beer, but nothing special.
