I must've gotten a bad bottle because mine had basically zero carbonation. Everyone else says theirs was highly carbonated. Not sure if it is the age, but it shouldn't lose carbonation after only a year in the bottle.

From 08/08/15 notes. Big thanks to Dave for giving me this one. 750ml bottle into my Duvel tulip.
Pours a hazy golden color with two fingers plus of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation. Lots of yeast, bready malts, spices, pepper, pears, and fruity malts. Nice mix of fruit and spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall a good saison; very much like a Belgian. Worth checking out.

L: Pours hazy gold under a 1” white foam collar that recedes to a thick film that leaves intricate lace. S: Earthy, herbal, fruit, slightly over ripe fruit. T: A well rounded yeast driven palate with an earthy fruitiness, apricot to plum flavors, light malts. F: They nail the saison texture and body with medium to medium light body and above average, very soft carbonation. O: An excellent, well prepared saison.

1pt. 9.4oz. - corked and caged brown bottle - label dated 11/13/2014
Southampton Saison Deluxe has a [light] cloudy golden body and atop sits an off-white fluffy and bubbly 2-finger head that held very well - a nice looking ale. As I consumed the Ale foamy lacing clung to the sides of my tulip glass. The nose was light, fresh and clean. The smell was dominated by fruit and also peppery spice and lemon was noted. The taste begins with the flavor of pears, oranges, and peaches followed by a peppery spice. Also, the flavor of apples and lemons are present with a crisp and dry finish. Mouth feel is light-medium to medium bodied, smooth on the palate with a generous amount of carbonation.
Saison Deluxe is my first brew from Southampton Publick House and I am impressed!! I am becoming a big fan of the Saison/Farmhouse style of ale.
