I am sampling a cellar temp 12 oz bottle poured into a mug. the beer pours a clear copper hue with a 2 cm dense creamy eggshell white head.
Aroma is a bit of caramel and some grassy and spicy hops. Not a huge nose but appealing.
First sip reveals an average body with medium carbonation and a soft smooth texture.
Flavor is caramel and grainy malt up front then some spicy hops and a bit of a dry chalky note on the finish.
No hints of alcohol and certainly not an american IPA. This is a well balanced beer. I find it enjoyable and extremely easy to drink. Well made just dont expect to get hop smacked and you wont be disappointed.

Slightly hazy golden color with a thin head with low retention, but leaving laces.
Aroma of papaya, herbal and a bit of English hops, white bread, orange citrusy and pears.
Crisp flavor of citrus, figs, herbal and some earthy hops, and pears. Hints of oranges. Warming up becomes more English, and sorry to say that, but actually one burps English beer. Dry and bitter aftertaste, with a distant acidity.
An American interpretation of an English IPA, but besides of the US citrusy and a soft tartness, it ended up with milder flavors than the original reference.

No discernible dating on this bottle. If it is this beer is any where near the years listed on the label, it's vinegar...

Pours a hazed amber with a thumb of cream colored head. Never cleared up, good head retention & above average lacing

S: Pears, figs, no hint of hops other than some woodyness

T: Follows the nose, woody hops & mineral dryness, also leafy hops up front. More figgy notes , leafy & woody hops, figs & pears as this warms. Finishes dry & fruity & more like an ESB, some mineral dryness

MF: Medium bodied, slight carbonation, decent balance

I like the concept, had a few burton IPAs over in England; this just seems like a very muted version, drinkable, but not worth buying
