A Belgian Dubbel with lots of malt sweetness and body. This amber-colored beer, with its whipped cream-like foam, is delicately spiced with ginger, to provide a perfect accompaniment to Christmas dinner. The beer is brewed with Belgian malt and yeast. The perfect beer for Christmas dinner.

Copenhagen 13/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej Kbh. NV. Elk-hat and glasses on the label that declares that this is a private label effort from Coop. It also declares that this is a "kinky Christmas beer". I can hardly wait.
Pours hazy amber with a white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is of ginger and mint with some sweet fruit in the background. Plums and raisins.
Strong carbonation and slightly oily palate. Lively texture.
Flavor more or less follows the nose. Ginger, mint, a little chili and the strange sensation that you have just brushed your teeth before consuming this beer.
Not especially kinky unless you consider drinking beer after tooth brushing as kinky.
