The beer is clear amber with an off-white high, slowly settling head. a bit uneven, but leaving good lacing.
The smell is fruity, pears, apricot, citric, grape-fruit and bitter oranges, floral, pine, hay, grass. Some bread and toffee tones. A lot for being a pale ale.
Initially sweet brown bread, then sour fruity and citric notes, a spicy bitterness enters quickly and dominates in a long aftertaste.
Medium high carbonation, small lively bubbles, a fresh texture, not a big body but a nice dry finish.
Well done and well balanced. Lots of aromas (and hops) in this one. Nice.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 4.5 %. Reddish amber colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. The aroma is first "dusty", but has also notes of American and NZ hops. The flavour s better than the aroma, distinct notes of fruity and piney hops throughout, dry and bitter finish.

Recently stumbled across my notes from The Festival 2012. Lets do this!
A - Poured a slightly hazy coppery hue with a light off white head that fades to leave a light blanket.
S - Smell is pretty solid, light citrus, faint roasted notes, caramel, sweet malts.
T - Taste is pretty solid here as well. Light biscuit notes, solid grapefruit and faint tropic notes. Gentle pineapple. Not too too bad with a light bitter finish.
M - Mouthfeel is solid. Light on the carbonation with some faint bitterness.
O - Overall a solid APA. Like the tropical notes but could do with that malty sweetness.

The colour is copper (15 EBC), the liquid is a little cloudy. The gigantic head is airy and pale amber. It is firm with a fine crater, and it sinks slowly leaving quite a lot of lacing.
The smell is light. Some American citric hops, dry hints of yeast and rye bread. Sweet, somewhat roasted notes that makes me think of cookies and biscuits.
The taste is creamy with fine American/New Zeeland hops in the background. The bitterness is more of British strength than American. The flavours are smooth: Some biscuits and sweet dark bread, cream, hints of nuts, pineapples and toffee. The aftertaste is as smooth with an slowly growing bitterness that brings some metallic flavours and a touch of canned peaches. The bitterness in the finish is very gentle.
The carbonation is mild, the small bubbles soft. The liquid is very smooth.
Deep inside, this is a style-blend of cream ale and an English bitter with some New world aroma hops. Really, really gulpable!

A: This beer pours dark golden slightly hazy with a large off-white compact head that slowly dissipates into nice lacings.
S: Lots of American hops, both floral and bitter. Pine, grapefruit, pineapple, oranges. Caramell malt.
T: Sweet malt, doughy rye-bread. Floral hops, piney and citric (much like in the smell). Nice bitterness.
M: Aftertaste is rather long and holds a lingering bitterness with a touch of pine. Body is meidum and carbonation is the same.
O: If you're into American hops, this is a very nice beer.
