A 440ml can with a BB of Aug 2018. Brewed in the UK under contract; ABV is stated as 4.1%. Purchased a while back from Morrisons. The label states that this is brewed according to the Amstel tradition.

A: Poured into a straight pint glass. A crystal-clear golden colour with light carbonation and some vague floating sediment. Forms a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a moment or two before collapsing and dissipating.

S: Aroma of faint pale malt with whispers of earthiness and stewed leaves. Almost non-existent. Not flawed but not really beer either....

T: Tastes of very light malt with faint notes of grain, stewed leaves/veg and a twinge of earthiness. Very dry, with little bitterness to speak of. Underwhelming would be an understatement.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with prickly carbonation and thin body for the style. Mildly astringent. Aftertaste of harsh stewed leaves and faint malt.

O: A subpar industrial lager. Unimpressive on all fronts. Average looks and body, while the aroma and flavour are bland yet punctuated by subtle off-notes. Barely worth the effort of drinking - give it a miss.

Had the non lite version out in Amsterdam. Pours a light amber with amazing clarity, almost no head retention to it. Aroma was spritzy carbonation.

Taste, light, easy to drink, slight Saaz hop feel to it, not discernably different than the light version we get in the states. Uplifting, refreshing, just enough caramel to it. Overall, pricy, but one of the more enjoyable beers in the style. Have no idea why it isn't available in the states. Nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes we're in the mood for an easy drinking, lightly hopped beer.

Boring beer which tastes like heineken, just another lager really, boring as hell, but i suppose you could drink it.
