Pours a dark golden hue with a bubbly three finger head not the best looking, the smell has that typical saison farmhouse yeast character along with some bready malts and white fruit, rhe feel is medium bodied with spritzy carbonation and the tastes are pretty one dimensional with hints of barley, spicy rye, pale malts and finished with a herbal bitterness, overall a big disappointment and definately dont recommend cheers.

A real hybrid or not?
A big let down to look at with the head dying to flat quickly. No film no nothing. The rest of the experience really just ends up being a sweet non-saison non-pale ale.
Hint of earthiness and yeast but the blend of styles subtracts from both and adds to neither.

330ml Bottle from Good Spirits Co in Glasgow (£2.40):
I had high hopes for this one going in given that it's a collaboration between three excellent breweries but in truth it failed to deliver, at least in part. The beer was quite enjoyable but it wasn't as good as I've come to expect from these three craft breweries, the aroma in particular being a real disappointment and what brought the beer down some in my opinion of it.

Pours light golden, a bit hazy, nice foamy one finger white head, popping to a tiny frothy lace and some traces pretty fast.
Smell of lemon, spicy cracker, some honey, spicy yeasts (stronger from the spice mix infusion, strong clove), a low funk (some straw, some green hay), hops.
Crisp zesty start with lots of lemon and some grapefruit, followed by a short flash of caramel biscuity sweetness. The farmhouse ale notes follow, faint barnyard, some hay and straw funk, herbal with some coriander and lemongrass, even a bit of lactose. A rich multi-grain note throughout, spicy and rich. Finishes hoppy, mildly bitter.
Medium body and carbonation. Nice aftertaste, spicy, hoppy, grainy, a bit funky too.
Expected more from such a big collaboration. Pale ale with a tiny saison twist, something that you can easily find in cheaper Belgian brews. A bit of an edge with the nice American hops.
