A 330ml bottle with a BB of March 2017. Acquired a little while back from the Brewdog webshop.
A: Poured into a tulip. A golden-yellow colour with moderate carbonation and faint haze. Yields a decent head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before subsiding.
S: Aroma of light, grainy malt with hints of husk, harsh stewed leaves and a touch of grassiness. Uninspired.
T: Tastes of light malt and stewed hops with notes of acrid cooked leaves, husky grain and mild overdone veg. An astringent bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with prickly carbonation and light body. Aftertaste of harsh stewed hops.
O: Meh. Broadly speaking I really enjoy Brewdog's offerings, but this is one of those exceptions. It doesn't seem much better than macro lager. Bland, with an overbearing leafy bitterness to it. There are much nicer pilsners out there. Give it a miss.

Light, hazy straw. Thin head. Effervescent.
Grain, honey and grass aroma.
Taste follows the bouquet with a slice of lemon.
Light and refreshing.
Nothing special.

Poured to a Brouwerij't IJ glass.
A: The body is pure crystalline yellow with non-proeminent coloration. Looks a bit watery but it's just due to the style. The head is white, one-finger thick but has a strange density. Good retention and no lacing.
S: The aroma is plain simple hops being very direct. Was expecting something surprising here.
T: The taste is interesting. This is by far the best pilsner I've ever had but it's still a (too) simple pilsner. I'd have to say that probably I'm not really into thid style. The taste is mostly hoppy with some sugary tones. Sometimes it felt like a fainted IPA with no bitterness.
M: The carbonation is harsh and the bitterness is close to zero, but it's pleasant to drink anyway.
O: This is clearly the best pilsner I've had so far. Yet, there's no suprise here and the mouthfeel could be a lot better. Just waiting for Pedro Sousa's pilsner to dethrone this as my best pils.

Bottled
It's got a huge foaming white head which is good because
the very pale yellow body combined with a very wheat aroma gives it an unsettling piss comparison
The taste is also wheat with hops starting as the flavour finishes
Slight bitterness
Very thin

Pours bright, light golden. small head
Sweet on the nose, like fresh sawn wood. Not much going on
Some grainy, corny flavours, not much in the way of hops maybe a touch of lemon. A pleasing bitterness and decent dry finish.
It's ok.
