Very Good
Elvis JuiceElvis Juice
Notes: An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload - grapefruit peel piled on top of intense us aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.

Malts: Cara, Extra Pale

Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Magnum, Mosaic, Simcoe

You ain't nuttin' but a BrewDog, drinking all the time. You ain't nuttin' but a BrewDog....you get it. And Elvis Juice definitely gets it too. Warning - plenty of Elvis references incoming.

For all you Suspicious Minds - this grapefruit infused IPA pours a fairly clear amber color. A slightly off-white head lingers for a bit but gets All Shook Up after a few minutes. Good lacing remains a Good Luck Charm on the glass.

Taking a smell of a freshly poured glass makes you think A Little Less Conversation and time for a lot more action. Grapefruit and some background malts and other sweet notes (honey?) are Always On My Mind when drinking this IPA.

Elvis Juice follows the wonderful smell with a taste that stays Stuck On You. I have some serious Burning Love for these grapefruit forward IPA. I normally venture towards hoppy-er IPAs but the quality sweetness of this IPA won't leave me Crying In The Chapel.

A light carbonation and pleasant aftertaste leave your palate feeling like some Blue Suede Shoes - cool and ready for a night out on the town.

There's no Heartbreak Motel with Elvis Juice. Again, I lean towards heavier IPAs but this more fruit-focused brew is has me feeling like I Can't Help Falling In Love with it. Surrender to the flavor and buy yourself a 6-pack. Trust me Elvis Juice will stay Stuck On You.

From a twelve ounce aluminum can, this brew is a honey colored, hazy liquid, topped with a tall, stable, off-white head. The aroma is all fruit...lots and lots of citrus. The taste has plenty of grapefruit, orange peel, and other tropical notes. Wonderful flavor. Dryish, fruity, and well made..

Poured from a can. Golden in color with a white head and lacing. Smells are very bright citrus, orange really sticks out. Orange is in the forefront on taste, finish is hoppy with a hint of pine.

Dark copper colored with a half inch of creamy beige on top. Moderate lacing. The nose is absolutely packed with grapefruit and that’s all I detect. I’m tasting a heap of grapefruit, some citrus and light malt. The mouth is fairly dense and resinous.

12 oz. can poured into a pint glass from a 12 can variety pack. Pours a orangey amber color with a decent head and lacing. Smells of grapefruit and hops. The taste is grapefruit up front, with a nice hop bitterness. The malt is in the background balancing out the bitterness. Good carbonation. A very refreshing beer.

Appearance: A good two fingers of foam settle in on top of the clear amber liquid; good staying power and a few strands of lace

Smell: Pink grapefruit buttressed by honey and graham cracker tones

Taste: Sweeter flavors emerge early, with the honey and graham cracker rising before the pink grapefruit aspect kicks in; the malt bill persists, through the finish in complementary fashion; resinous in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A bit quirky, for an IPA, with the grapefruit accentuating what was otherwise more of an old school east coast IPA

L: Autumn amber in color. Mostly hazy. Lively carbonation.

S: Big grapefruit tang to it, with malty overtones.

T: Lots of grapefruit juice that cuts the hop flavor significantly. It's kind of like an IPA shandy really. There's a level of hop bitterness that my palate quickly adjusted to. It's much stronger to someone who doesn't do IPA often. I would have liked a fresher hop flavor. The malt base was very delicious.

F: A dry finish and admittedly very poundable.

O: My 12 can mix pack came with 3 punk IPA, 3 hazy janes, 4 grapefruit, and 2 pina colada. I would have liked it mixed 3-3-3-3. That kind of thing says to me that BrewDog isn't confident about their seasonal release. They should be so excited to get the new stuff out that they are just bursting with it. Elvis Juice is above average overall.

A very simple beer, but refreshing and agreeable. It smells of grapefruit, it tastes of grapefruit with a little bit of IPA. I read in other reviews that many don't find enough bitterness in it. I am baffled because I found bitterness the main characteristics of this beer. Good balance between alcohol and flavour

1 PINT can
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours amber with orange highlights. It is clear and topped with a few inches of beige head that leaves wonderful lacing.

It smells like fresh grapefruit.

It tastes like grapefruit juice mixed into an IPA. It really doesn't have much bitterness. It is all about the grapefruit.

Medium bodied and mouthfeel

This is a grapefruit bomb. I find it refreshing. I am not a big grapefruit fan, but this beer is not full of grapefruit bitterness. Plus it enhances my hypertension and hypercholesterolemia medications.

Poured a copper body with minimal head and lace down the glass. The aroma struck me as a mix of herbal tea and grapefruit. Light, herbal background, white grapejuice taste for a light-bodied and juicy IPA that has a grassy and dry finish and is easy to drink.

Elvis Juice, great design as always from one of my favourite brewers.

Head dies down quite fast, but looks good. Seriously grapefruity, kind of Elvis meets Lilt.

Tastes a bit weak after my previous Belgian Tripel. More Lilty than beery in fact. Is lilty actually an adjective? Or is it an adverb? Or does it not exist? Does Elvis still exist?

This is quite refreshing. But to be honest, not really an IPA and not really for me. Maybe I was expecting more of a beer. This is definitely more juicy

Clear with a slight amber color. Smell is strong in grapefruit with a little bit of hops. Taste follows the smell with a bitter grapefruit and pine dominating. Well balanced and not too sweet. Grapefruit taste natural which makes this beer very refreshing in the summer. Overall, this is very drinkable and I could see myself finishing off the rest of the 6 pack on a beach somewhere.

Popped the cap, magnificent, straight into my left eye... American IPA saw it on the page of a bro, found it, now sniffing it..delightful sniff, smells good.. It looks almost fully crystal clear, time for first glass...

Gulped half a glass I one go, this tastes great.. At last, A good IPA... Looking forward to the next IPA's.

Big, pretty white head has staying power and leaves light, delicate lacing. The nose is a blast of grapefruit rind, malt backbone, and a a fruity sweetness. Flavor is direct citrus hop bitterness, with a minimal bread note and a more balanced finish. Very grapefruit centered but not competely one dimensional, with the late balance and a hint of white pepper. Definitely tasty and easy to drink. Just not terribly complex.

Elvis Juice has a very carbonated, and a very juicy, orange-centered flavor that hits you at first sip. Look is a dingy copper slightly hazed pour into glass with fairly strong two finger head with very good lacing on glass. The smell is a typical IPA smell with some fruit added, definitely citrus like grapefruit and orange. The taste is very good if you are expecting a juicy-forward beer with mild malty overtones. It has a dry finish and I expected good aftertaste of fruit, but what takes away from that from me is some sweetness that I didn't expect almost like too much like an IPA-flavored juice. The alcohol content is very perfect for this brew, pushing it past 4 for overall. One thing to add is that this brew is more crush-able than I expected and probably more enjoyed that way than sipping due to it's sweetness.

Poured into a chalice: color is gold, transparent, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents 1 finger thick, leaves some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is big grapefruit juice, pith, rind followed by some light caramel and toasted malt, hint of pine and herbal notes.

Taste is more malt forward with similar notes of caramel and light toast, then grapefruit flavor comes through with more pith, juice, rind with herbal, earthy, piney flavors as well.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, then moderate sweet fullness and then solid bitterness with light drying.

Overall a great fruited version of the the IPA with real grapefruit flavors that are emphatic with solid bitterness and pleasant malt flavor backing the bitterness of hops and grapefruit rind.

Enjoyed a draft at a small Inn and was duly impressed by all aspects. I expected a hazy but received a cloudy. The grapefruit popped and I detected slight pine in the bed. I didn't pour but the waiter delivered a composite draft, no wasted glass. I'll give this one a thumbs-up, despite the long distance travel of the brew.

Smells great upon first open. Poured into glass in which a nice head appeared which receded quickly. Has a darker orange appearance that gives it more of a blue moon type look then iPad. Drinks well with a immediate citrus taste with the grapefruit kicking in, after the pine taste connects with the caramel malt. Overall good beer, nice on a hot day. Will always buy when marked down.

Hazy with a dark gold color, it pours with over three fingers worth of yellowish foamy looking head that has a really amazing amount of retention to it that leaves a lot of looping lacing.

Loads of citrus aroma with a nice amount of grapefruit to it, some tropical fruit hop hints and a good note of sweetness to the nose.

Lots of grapefruit flavor forward with a high amount of sweetness to it, however even with all the grapefruit flavor and a high sweetness it doesn't feel like a radler at least in part due to its heavier, full bodied caramel malt base.

Lingering bittersweet finish, oily pithy grapefruit rind, faintly piney hop hints and a slightly saccharine note gives is a suggestion of Campari on the back end, feels fairly boozy without really tasting like it. Overall it really hits the grapefruit flavor, may a bit too sweet for an IPA and to heavy for a radler, but I'm definitely in to it.

Pours hazy bronze with a chunky head that quickly dissipates to a dish soap cap. Red grapefruit, lemons and caramel, toasty malts in the nose. Grapefruit rind, apricot and field berries mix with doughy, sweet malts in the taste. The mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Medium bitterness and more fresh red grapefruit notes in the long finish.

This is a nice IPA. Great malt profile and very balanced. The grapefruit addition is clear too. Worth a try.

Pretty clear pour with a fast disappearing head. Well you know it's a grapefruit beer immediately upon sticking you nose in the glass. Some other tropical fruit in evidence too. Citrusy palate notes like lemon & lime to compliment the grapefruit. Quite crisp as well. Finished fairly clean.
