330 mL bottle from the LCBO; best before Feb 11 2018 and served barely chilled.

Pours a clear orange-amber hue, with roughly one inch of frothy white foam seated atop. Within the next 3-4 minutes, it has faded down to a bubbly, soapy cap and wide collar, with an attractive ring of lacing having been splattered against the interior of the glass. Looks fine. The aroma is potently citric, with notes of pink grapefruit juice, orange zest and citrus oil coming through quite clearly. There's also some underlying caramel and bready malt sweetness, as well as some hints of dank pine resin, peach and raspberry, but these are all minor contributors compared to the citrus.

A solid IPA, with the grapefruit imbuing it with a rather more citrus-forward flavour than most others. It's equipped with a sturdy base of pale, bready malts and caramel sweetness, but it's the pink grapefruit notes - together with hints of orange peel essential oils and marmalade - that really drive the profile. Subtle suggestions of tropical fruit (pineapple) and berries (lychee) are also distributed throughout the middle and latter portions of the sip, ending upon a note of pine resiny bitterness that lingers briefly into the aftertaste. Medium in body, with moderate carbonation levels that provide a modest bite on the palate; a little soft in texture, and rather smooth/slick-feeling. Excellent drinkability for a 6.5% hop bomb.

Final Grade: 4.04, an A-. Elvis Juice didn't exactly leave my taste buds all shook up, but it's still a very solid effort - not that I've come to expect anything less from these hound-BrewDogs. The grapefruit flavours are appealing - both juicy and pithy - as well as perfectly suited to the quintet of fruity, flavourful hop strains used to produce this very-respectable pale ale. I'd need to try this side-by-side with their Punk IPA to determine which one I prefer, but either way they're both solid IPAs, well worth checking out if you can secure a fresh sample.

330 ml bottle served cold into a pint glass. Purchased from the LCBO for around $3.20 CDN. Best before February 11, 2018.

Appearance - Hazy dark bronze color with some orange highlights. Small half finger of off-white head rests on top and lingers for only a short while. Some spotty lacing sticks to the edge of the glass.

Smell - Sweet grapefruit, orange and pineapple combo, leaning more towards the orange and grapefruit. Rather sweet overall and near artificial smelling. Reminds me of Heavy Seas TropiCannon.

Taste - Clean with middling bitterness, some grapefruit and subtle orange and lemon. More astringent than tropical, but with decent grainy backbone. Flavor just doesn't seem to stick to the tongue as much as I would've expected.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, a touch gassy, fairly dry finish.

Overall -Elvis Juice isn't a bad IPA, but tasted like one with extra artificial flavors added and it didn't really work for me. Wishing I hadn't gotten a second bottle as other better and fresher IPA's are available.

12 oz can, came in a boxed variety 12 pack

4/18//18 stamped on the bottom

Pours lightly hazed, darker almond, medium khaki cap, goes to a fine film and leaves spotty low lacing on the glass

Sweet fruit juicy sniff

Tasty enough IPA, on the sweet malty side, I'm not really getting the advertised grapefruit blast...might be the over two months in the can...either way tasty and enjoyable enough to enjoy more then one...better then decent sessioner.

330 ml bottle, Tesco, Bristol - Pours clear amber with a mediumwhite foamy head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma- zesty, sharp, citrus- orange/grapefruit/peach. Taste - zesty, citrus - orange/grapefruit/peach pith, light crisp bitter finish. Nice enough but personally prefer citrus notes from hops.

Pours a clear amber/copper colour. Lots of citrus-hop and grapefruit aromas. Tastes like it smells; Citrus, pink-grapefruit juice and a clean, hoppy-bitterness. Light grapefruit juice at the finish. Very clean and drinkable.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2018. Acquired a little while back from Morrisons. An IPA infused with grapefruit and orange peel.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. A rich orange-amber hue with plentiful floating sediment and good carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a while before settling as a persistent surface layer.

S: Aroma of concentrated grapefruit with hints of peel, citrus, mild tropical fruit, caramel malt, barley sugar, subtle grain and vague ale yeast. Citrus and IPA are natural partners - superb.

T: Tastes of juicy grapefruit with notes of peel, citrus, resin, subtle tropical fruit, herbal hints, caramel malt, ale yeast and faint stewed husks. Slightly sweet. A leafy quality lurks in the background, followed by a substantial hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and good body. Hop oils tantalise the palate. Aftertaste of grapefruit, citrus peel, bitter hops and caramel malt.

O: Great - a tasty IPA with a bit citrus hit. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour are stuffed with grapefruity notes and hop bitterness. Nice body. Goes down a treat. Perfect for hopheads and citrus lovers - worth sampling.

Dull copper body with chill haze, and white head that has a few strong minutes of retention before dissipating to a thin layer.
Like opening a can of fruit cocktail - big pineapple, peach, and grapefruit assault the nose, sweet and floral. Can practically taste it already.
Clean and mellow fruit flavours stay true the aroma, with fully ripe red grapefruit and peach leading the way. Bitter citrus hops make for a dry finish that is just right, begging for another sip. Light body, medium carbonation, and easy drinking, which could be dangerous given the abv - this dog is totally sessionable.

This is a delight to drink, a perfect summer beer, pair it with a burger. Very accessible, even non-beer drinkers might dig this.

330 ml bottle in Scotland with a BB date of July 2017. (Also on tap at BrewDog Stirling a couple of days earlier).
Clear copper-amber body with a decent head.
Fruity aroma with hints of grapefruit, oranges, caramel and alcohol esters.
Mildly bitter flavor.
Overall: fruity, easy drinking IPA.

12 oz can poured into tulip glass

A: Deep caramel amber body with almost no head to speak of.

S: smells like a cross between a blood orange and ruby red grapefruit.

T: this doesn't taste like an IPA at all it tastes like something Boons Fatm would come out with. Sweet, heavily carbonated lots of blood orange flavor but that is about it.

M: medium bodied with a tingly feel due to heavy carbonation.

O: fairly tasty but not much of an IPA. I wouldn't know this was a beer if I was blind folded.

LCBO version, with lemon peel and grapefruit peel. Not grapefruit juice as sometimes reviewed. Decent hops, summer-like taste. Something different and worth a try.

Can dated just 2 weeks ago so this review is of a fresh(!) product.

Appearance: Clean copper, with a huge off-white head and extravagant lace action.

Aroma: Totally grapefruit. Tangy and chewy already. Spot-on.

Taste: Remarkably and honestly grapefruit. As in juice. Bitter and true grapefruit juice taste with a hoppy backbone that supports it well. I’m not a fan of grapefruit in “real life” but this is a superior and ideal “juiced” IPA that I’d enjoy again and again .

I tried this at the Canal-Winchester, OH brewery. The scent had hints of citrus and pine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a great beer.
