East Coasts collide and crank it up for this new New England IPA retuned in Scotland. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a hazy appearance and super smooth delivery. Dry-hopped for a full-tilt fruit hit with pineapple, mango and a hint of zesty lime. Low on bitterness, high on haze, heavy on hops.

Love the flavor. I compare all hazy IPAs to this one.

Big wet head atop a thick white inch of foam with solid retention. Body is dense neon yellow. Nose is papaya and grapefruit and assorted tropical flavors. Juicy and flavorful, although a little one dimensional. Medicinal and herbal hops accompany the tropical notes. Resin in the aftertaste is fine but doesn't quite hit it out of the park.

A-Golden yellow with a good ring of white head. Good lacing. Haze is weak looks more like a chill haze than a NEIPA type haze from wheat, oats and hop isomerization
S-Wonderful candied fruit aroma of plum and mango. With pineapple and a slight dank quality
M-Solid medium body with medium carbonation and a juicy mouthfeel
T-Sweet caramel upfront with a smooth and low level bitterness that remains on the palate for a while
O-Really nice brew. Missed the visual haze but could have been because the can was close to five months old.

i'm ok with this one but it's not driving me crazy. born on 2/3/22, consumed 3/27/22.
L: drinking from the can and it's fine (but not special)
S: general citrus. rather muted
T: some papaya that doesn't do much for me. kind of floral. meh
F: it's fine
O: it's ok in a pinch but not worth seeking out for my tastes.

Pours a nice hazy, orangey gold. Not super murky, but nice and balanced. 3 inch head slowly receded into a thick centimetre thick cap, leaving some foamy lacing.

Pineapple the strongest aroma here, the alcohol breezes through gently but adds a nice little amount of spicey heat on a deep inhale. Bits of mango and bready malt. General citrusy hop notes, very zesty. Some mango too, typical for the style.

Nice and unique taste that departs quite a bit from the nose. Much more sweet and bready, like nice thick yeasty, wheaty, earthy and thick bread slices. Stone fruits, pineapple, mango and papaya flavours throughout. There is a very low level of bitterness. Some lemon and lime peel, floral hops to be had.

Medium-light bodied, the alcohol is well masked. A somewhat long finish, that finishes quite juicy, sweet and malty. Lower level of carbonation, small and tight bubbles that lightly prick the tongue and gently foam to create a smooth and creamy sip.

Important to note, my can was 4 months and a week or so old. Was always refrigerated, but I’m sure this may have muted some of the tropical and floral hop notes somewhat and brought out the malty ones a bit more. Regardless, super fresh or a few months old, this was certainly quite delicious. Easy drinking, smooth, juicy and sweet, I’d definitely seek this out again!
