Two cities in one. Double up with this DDH IPA. A fully loaded hoppy precinct with kiwi, lychee and berry notes. All sitting on firm malt foundations. Milk sugar rounds and sweetens out the full tilt, juicy flavour. And oats ensure an asphalt smooth delivery.

not much to say really, had it with dinner and wasn’t giving my full attention granted, but this didn’t really have much doing on, quite sweet, nice enough fruit flavours, citrus fruits, candy, quite smooth from the oats, easy enough drinking, very light bodied, pretty dull, there are worse beers.

330 ml can, from SPAR Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango and lychee. Hints of spruce in the background. The flavour is fruity and slightly sweet, notes of tropical fruits again, a hint of pine needles, but the bitterness is low. Not bad, but running in a heat with many contenders.

L: Opaque tropical hazy yellow. Would easily mistake it for pineapple juice, were it not for the head, which dissipates after pouring fairly quickly.
S: Nothing unpleasant in there, but not much of an aroma to write home about. initially a very mild fruity hit, but not much after that
T: Fruity oat flavours. sweet pineapples, bananas, with a very mild grapefruit bitterness at the end
F: Very drinkable, light carbonation and almost the thickness of fruit juice.
O: Very light and easy session IPA. Probably a bit sweet for most ale drinkers. Very good example of this kind of beer though.

660ml Bottle from Morrisons Supermarket (£2.60):
Very light, peach coloured amber with a 3cm, foamy white head with excellent retention but definitely a lot lighter than expected. A faintly hopped nose with pineapple, citrus & hints of peach then a subtle lactose base with some sweetness at the end but nothing too strong. The taste is quite subdued too, opening with pineapple & citrus, some pale malts & a subtle hop bitterness then a faint lactose backing. It's light-medium bodied & slightly tangy with a sharp, dry finish too.

One of the nicest IPA’s I’ve ever tasted, bit like a white Guinness. Truly sensational.
