Notes:
New England detuned. This full-tilt fruit machine of an IPA packs all the flavour but less of the alcohol. Notes of pineapple, mango, stone-fruit, and a hint of tangerine to mix it up. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smooth juicy hit.

12 oz can, born 3/18/22. Pours hazy gold orange with a medium rocky white head that retains fairly well and leaves little lacing.
The aroma is sweet bready malt with some ripe fruit.
The flavor is sweet bready malt with a little fruit and a mild earthy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a subdued malty NE IPA.

12 oz can
Pours out with a light haze, khaki cap.
Some fruits and a hint of resin on the sniff.
On the palate, it’s some nice bright orange notes, general hoppy goodness, all flowing over a smooth malted underbelly..enjoyable, and worthy everyday kinda offering

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-amber color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strongest of some grainy smells along with a caramel malt and a bit of grapefruit and herb. Along with these smells comes a little bit of lemon and a bit of peach and apple.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and cracker malt flavor mixed with some caramel sweetness and a little bit of orange. At the same time there is a presence of grapefruit and herbal hop, both of which get stronger as the taste advances. At the same time there is a light graininess and some grassy flavors that enter the taste profile. Some other flavors of lemon and earth come at the very end leaving one with a rather easy going, slightly more grapefruity and citrus hop taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to average, with a carbonation level that is moderate. Overall, the feel is rather nice and makes for an easy sipping brew.
Overall – A nice and tasty brew with an easy drinking feel.

BORN 11/17/21
Pours a hazy, honeyed-amber. So that checks out. Almost two fingers of head hangs out for a moment. I don't find this as offensive to behold as most hazies. If I squint I can almost pretend its a Two-Hearted. Smells tropical, juicy and boozy with a mild acetyl note. It doesn't completely ruin things, but it's not especially pleasant either. Tastes like a muddled, mucky mess, though there is a nice peach note on the back end. Southern tier of medium-bodied and overly carbed. *Shrug* It's not a great beer, but it is cheap and sometimes that's all I'm really looking for.

I got a can of this beer from a mixed Christmas 2021 holiday 24pck that my wife got me. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with pineapple and tangerine presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Weird. I gave this an extra quarter-point on the overall for being a really tasty 5% abv. But the can says 7.2%. I don't get the higher abv. I'm sooooo confused...

December 5th - poured from can dated late September. Off-white head with aroma of mango which thickens after a moment or two in the glass. Medium body and carbonation. Dominant flavors are mango, orange, and something peppery - interesting. Caramel aftertaste. Lowish ABV but has a bit of sharpness or bite.

Scottish IPA, named as a New England IPA. I am not sure what this is, but I guess I will find out in about a minute. Hopefully it's similar to a West Coast American one.
Impressive, quite luminous appearance...fairly alive ahead.
Refreshing, quite mild, west coast American style aroma...and sweet banana and peachy passion fruit.
Some wheat and oats in addition to barley, it seems.
Taste is a little on the sweet side...bananaey wheat and oats are also coming through. Fruity hops without that much bitterness...my taste buds love bitterness. So for me it's good, but not great. Rather a simple mouth feel also, not a huge after taste either...a little too sweet and juicy.

Hazy pour, of course, with a modest head. Nose offers a big bouquet of pine-resin hops, just wonderful to smell. Taste, likewise, hits right up front with a lot of fruity, citrusy hoppiness, together with a sweet malt barely restrained by the bitterness. Good substantial mouthfeel. This is a strong beer (the stats on this page say 5%, but the can I've got says 7.2%) and feels that way. Better than usual hazy IPA. Brewdog are old hands at making good beers.
