Start the car. The lights are about to turn amber. Buy the ticket, take the ride. Past the alley where thieves and pimps sell corporate brews and good men soak it up like vermin, blissful in their ignorance. Past the jackhammers who want their three and a half percent. Keep going. Towards that golden orb, the size of Zeus’s ass, that hovers over this crazy town. Sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink amber, and drive like a bastard towards that saintly light.

I served this beer from the bottle in a pilsener glass.. Good rich foam, nice amber colour.
The smell is spicy with some notes of roasted barley and some sweet fruits in it. Good fresh smell, crisp and delightfull.
Great taste, smooth and totally not strong tastes of beer. Very rich of fine barley and fruitiness. Apricot, oranges with a touch of hot spices.
Another great creation from Scotland from BrewDog, the 5 A.M. Saint.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a brownish/amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of caramel malts. Taste is malts, light citrus, a touch of caramel. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

From the can, it pours a clear reddish amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets some bready malt and citrus. The mouth gets the same - easy drinking with notes of caramel, roasted malts and light hops.

Can from the advent box Pours a deep amber almost copper color with a frothy off white head that slowly recedes. Earthy light citrus bready light caramel not bad but a nice change for the plethora of ipa's so far.

Reminds me a lot of my yuengling amber lager but a bit more heavy and sweet. Not getting much spicy but went down smooth enough in a pint chug. Picked it up as part of the winter variety cheap so it makes it worth the money.

Drunk at the Good Beer Company in Singapore in October 2023.
L: Copper brown with a thin off-white head. No carbonation in the glass.
S: Rich, resinous caramel.
T: Closely follows the nose. Nice dank, bitter kick. Finishes sweet and bitter. Very nice.
M: Full and sherbety with moderate carbonation.
O: A very tasty, tangy red ale.
Cheers!

Came in a can. Tan colour with offwhite head. Lovely raspberry and sherbet nose. Sweet start, then some raspberry flavour before a somewhat spicy finish. Good stuff, but rather more mellow than the nose suggested.

Appearance: Tawny, burgundy amber, attractive and clean with nice fuzzy off-white head. Lovely web of lace.
Aroma: Fruity, hops accounted for! Unusual for an amber but certainly nice. “21st century red ale” indeed!
Taste: Ideal balance between toasty, biscuity malts and crisp citrus and fruity hops. Very enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber glass, with a small head of foam that dissipates quite quickly. Lacy foam clings to the side of the glass as you drink.
The smell is great. Roasted malts, toasted peanuts, caramel are the first scents that hit your nose, followed by faint coffee and herbal notes.
The taste is very moreish. Those roasty sweet smells are present in the flavor, and balanced by a gentle fresh tang.
Feels smooth on the tongue, with a dry finish.
Overall, a very moreish beer, whose balance of flavors makes it easy to drink more than one bottle.
