Picked this up at a great little beer store in Arlon, Belgium, Miorge Mihoublon. Cloudy amber-orange pour with a two finger foamy white head with great retention and lacing. The nose is citrusy and grassy with hints of caramel, brown sugar, grass, orange zest, and yeast. The taste is really bold and full of citrusy hops. Hints of caramel, tangerine, grapefruit, grass, lemon, orange peel, and brown sugar. The mouthfeel is oily and mouth puckering, but really well balanced with huge drinkability. Overall, this was recommended strongly by the bottle shop owner and I can see why. I can definitely see the strong points of each brewery in this beer. Highly recommended!

330 ml bottle, Etre Gourmet - Pours cloudy golden with a medium white foamy head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Fruity ester front - banana, cut grass notes, green hoppy feel, yeasty background. Taste - Sweet, orchard fruits, estery content again, yeasty feel, lingering crisp bitter finish. Nice different Belgian strong ale.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a thin white head that persists, leaving moderate lacing. Aroma of pale malt, lemon, mixed exotic fruit, citrus rind and light grassy hops; a little boozy. Flavor is Belgian pale malt, lemon, grapefruit and light orange with both fruit and rind elements, hints of light tropical and stone fruit in the middle and finish, which is moderately hoppy with light grassy hops. Finishes with nice mixed stone and citrus fruit flavors and grassy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess, nice mouth feel. This seems like a cross between a Belgian strong pale ale, which the fruit flavors and malt resemble and a Belgian IPA, to which the hops and citrus contribute. The combination works quite well. There is a nice flavor progression, with citrus up front and other fruit flavors developing with the hop bitterness into a hoppy finish with good fruit notes. The alcohol is nicely hidden, which is impressive because the overall flavors are not assertive. I liked this quite a bit. De Senne has usually impressed me and this is no exception.

Color light amber, orange and quite cloudy.
Head off-white, made of fine bubbles, in the beginning was great, and after a short period of time drastic reduction in its size.
The aroma of gently feel the tropics, without a clear focus on a particular fruit, a little grassy hops and a slight honey note.
Taste already clearly honey, mango tropics but still only slightly, a little orange and peach, carrot.
Bitterness is average, pleasant, grapefruit, characteristically dry. Saturation medium toward high. Alcohol perfectly hidden. Schievano Funambulo a nice beer, but unfortunately it does not stand out somehow especially.

Draft at The Sovereign in DC.

Light orange body with a small, off-white collar. Fruity, spicy, earthy with a mild alcohol warmth in the finish. It’s wonderful to drink fresh De La Senne beers on this side of the pond. Kudos to The Sovereign.

Hazy orange, one finger, scarce, of white foam, not long-standing.
In the smell, malty e fruity, some light melon, peach, belgian yeast.
Same notes in the taste, along with a good amount of bitterness, but not well amalgamated and balanced.
Full body, well hidden alcohol, but it is not enough.
Not perfectly done beer, expecially for this brewery.
