A clear, darkbrown beer with a hint of copper colour. A three finger high, beige, head that leaves lacing on the glass.

Nose: Roasted malt, dark fruit, nuts, smoke and wood.
Taste: Again roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, raisin, vanilla and ash.
Body: Medium body and light carbonation. Soft texture. A great bitternes.

Easy drinking stout from De la Senne!

A bitter bitter Stout, almost burnt

Tastes of over-malted rye, extra dark malt. Coffee impressions, as all stouts, bit also that over the top bitterness.

Little happiness, except maybe late in mouth.

Very dark color, medium to high dizziness.

A great beer for those who live dark dark extra bitter stouts, but could be disappointing for those who don't. A beer that stands out.

Smell : roasted malt aroma.
Taste & mouthfeel : roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.
Overall :a good beer in the style Irish dry stout

Just... plain and unattractive. The taste is too mediocre to make up for it.

Not expecting much out of this since when my local place sells discount beers they are at least a year old. Lets just say 2015 is not an option for "best drank by" date

A - Slight sediment in the base but pretty good carbonation a 1/4 inch that is fizzing out rather quickly and a ruby red deep stout base.
S - I can smell the sherry others described with faint notes of wood, smoke and mild chocolate. It's not skunked so I can say its smells great.
T - Some dried dates, a touch of ashy roast and some good smoke flavors. Held up quite good for whatever date it is. Mild bitter finish.
M - Very bubbly despite the age feels like I am drinking a carbonated soda.

Overall not bad it's quite smooth for the style and I can't get it again since they are clearing them from the shelf's. Pick it up if you like the style.

I am drinking a 3 year old bottle of Stouterik and it has held up well. It pours brilliant deep dark brown under a finely bubbled 2” lightly tan tinted foam collar. It has a big sherry nose with a whiff of toast in the background. Sherry, dark dried fruit with mild roast and traces of caramel and chocolate form the palate. It is very smooth, creamy and surprisingly light bodied with above average carbonation.
