L: Pours a golden straw with mild yeast haze initially, settles out quickly. Huge soft pillowy head that disappears as the beer warms. No lacing left.
S: Sugar, citrusy hops, some coriander
T: Sweetness up front, like a lightly toasted english muffin, with sugary notes. Citrusy hops with some spicy bite. Not very strong on the herbal/citrusy aroma at all.
F: Low in carbonation for a saison.
O: Not really feeling this beer, would be nice if it had a bit more bite and more carbonation. I'm sure they will tweak it with more feedback.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with fizzy white head. Citrus, herbal and floral notes, and some grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with citrus and herbal tones.

Appearance of light banana yellow with large white cap and good lacing.
Aroma is also light but complex being a mixture of floral spice and mild malt. There's also a touch of something like banana but I think that might be a suggestion of the appearance rather than an actual flavor.
Taste is a bunch of little things rather than a hit of any large flavors. At first I thought there wasn't much there until I realized the complexity of flavors were working so well together what I was tasting represented a whole rather than parts. Like walking through a meadow where various flowers and herbs were growing. Hops interplay but really show up in the dry, slightly astringent finish and aftertaste.
Texture is lighter side of medium with a rounded feel.
Songbird is an appropriate name for this brew. It reminds me of early Summer walking through a meadow where various flowers and herbs are growing. This sense even on a cold, wet, dreary Winter day. I like the taut, tart complexity of this one and could drink it anytime.

Served from 16oz can into tulip glass.
Pours a 2" foamy white head that drops slowly with scattered lacing. Color is cloudy orange with abundant streaming bubbles. Aroma of brett yeast, lemon, white bread. Mouthfeel is light to medium, slightly sticky with a damp lingering finish. Flavors of tart lemon, yeast rolls, bubblegum, ripe fruit, and cracker. Overall an enjoyable saison.

A slightly hazy, yellow-straw with a finger + of foamy white head that settles down very slowly. Minor amount of bubbles rising, and some spotty lacing down the glass. The aroma is very lemony, with maybe some stone fruit, and green apple. A slight amount of farm house funk and cracker malt. The flavor is the same with the lemon really cutting through, nicely. Light body, dry and refreshing. Good strong level of carbonation, It's like a Saison light.

from a can to a duvel stem
look; burnt hazy orange golden, great color, 1" head not much retention, leaves a film cover and a little lacing
smell; yeasty lemon zest banana, a little orange
taste; yeasty and citrusy, a little banana, sugar and funk with a dry, tart finish
feel; moderate small bubble carbonation tingle, dry, crisp
overall, I really liked the belgian yeast presence in a lighter beer with a more tart, dry finish

Large can, drink before dating on bottom
Hazed lighter orangy amber, light whisky head and fine lacing left on glass.
Light perfumey nose with some yeast and fruity esters.
More of the same on the palate, fruity, earthy, yeasty, some wheaty malt notes.
Decent complexity and drinkability. One of my favorite brews from Tallgrass. Worth a try
