On draught at Frontier Brewing.
Pours a medium gold, clear, very short lasting head of foam.
The smell IS like key lime pie, including the crust.
Nice tart lemon, sweet pastry like taste..that's the crust. Easy level of tartness, made easier by the crusty flavour.
Light body but not watery.
Interesting.

12 oz can, best by date of 11/18/18.
Hazy gold color with a tall fluffy white head of 3 fingers, receding gradually to 1/2 finger and leaving sparse thick lacing on the sides.
Tons of lime zest in the nose, tons. And it follows with sweet pie crust and citrus hop.
Flavor is delicious sugary pie crust followed by sweet and tart and sour lime. Slight vanilla and marshmallow. Bready pie crusts pops up at the end.
Crisp yet creamy feel. Perfect for this beer. Refreshing.
Overall a really wonderful tart lime beer that really executes the key lime pie thing well. Probably the best key lime pie beer I've had.

Appearance: Pours relatively clear and golden in color with a one finger head that fizzes away quickly; minimal lacing
Smell: Graham cracker malt with tart lime tones and a hint of vanilla
Taste: Lactic lime tones forward buttressed by graham crackery sweetness in the middle; moderately tart finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: Tallgrass did a pretty good job with this one - sad to see them go out of business

Clear light gold color with white cap and lacing.
Aroma of mild grain and lime. A sweeter, almost fruit loop sort of lime that smells genuine.
Taste is a bit tart, a bit sweet, clearly lime dominant yet the lime doesn't take over except in the flavoring sense. There is a wholeness to the brew that shows it's well made and things are kept in perspective. The sweet lime balances the tartness and the tartness balances the sweet lime. Refreshing and pleasing.
Mid texture with balancing carbonation.
I like it. For a lime theme light brew it carries itself well being balanced and well behaved. Not a general purpose food matching beer but a refreshing pool side companion.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of strong lime, candi sugar, slight sweet malt, vanilla, and a hint of licorice. Fits the style of a Fruit/Vegetable Beer. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. There is an elevated tartness. Tastes of strong lime, candi sugar, slight sweet malt, vanilla, and a cola. Overall, it really does taste like Key Lime Pie; but otherwise weak appearance, blend, and feel.

Taste: tasty, lime zest, semi sweet, tart, fresh like an island Key lime pie. Same with the nose. Bright gold hue, mostly clear, tall foam head with some sticky lace. Medium body. Good dessert ale for warmer weather.
