22 oz bottle courtesy of Aaron. Thank you! No freshness date...argh.

Pours a dehydrated yellow with a razor thin cover and some minimal soapy cling.

Smells, well, old. Yeast, crackers, and some soap. My sniffer tells me this may not be the freshest bottle. Either that or this is one weak smelling IPA.

Oregano and tin foil all over this beer. Sourdough bread, yeast of burden, and a finish of grass and leaves. Damn, this is disappointing. I had a buddy who'd frequent Portland often and he sang the praises of this beer. I sure don't see it. The metallic vibe is really distracting. What's up with this?

Distraction upon distraction upon a vain attempt to understand.

Please, please say this is an old bottle. Then again, why would I be happy drinking that?

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Milky orange golden body with small bubbly head. Mildly sweet aroma, some hops , some malts. Taste brings on additional sweetness, some citrus fruitiness. Gentle hops bitterness at the back. Classic IPA, well balanced.

Clear amber brew with an abundance of fine-grained white foam in the tumbler. Sudsy mouthfeel with a tangy but not acidic taste. The fruit flavors don't jump out at you, and the bitterness is perfectly suited to the moderate sweetness. Distinct orange juice flavor with a bitter marmalade edge. Just a touch of piney resin.

This is one of the most drinkable yet hoppified beers I"ve had in a long time. Certainly one of the better and less pretentious IPAs in circulation. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Market of Choice in Eugene.

Served in 500ml can in Japan. Excellent but on the expensive side.

Poured from 16 oz can into a chilled glass mug. Nice amber / orange colour with a slight off white head. Smells great, nice mild hops. Tastes hoppy with a nice malt undertaste and some slight fruit sneaking through. Nice mouthfeel with little bitter hop aftertaste. Not bad at all. Prost!

From a 16 oz can, dated 14 March and it's 5 April. Pour is a slightly cloudy golden amber with a lighter, foamy head and mild retention. This one is in the high end of hoppy aromas...you pop the can and start a pour and rich aromas come up, slightly dank but very pleasant. Clean taste, hop-forward with a rich malty foundation. A very well balanced IPA and worthy of the name. Pleasant mouthfeel and finish. (We're relocating from MN to WA this summer and this is was on our first house-hunting expedition.).
