Look: Good looking.
Smell: Smelly. Hops and pine are apparent. This has a great aroma.
Taste: The taste is a good combination of hops, bitterness, and pine, with a nice touch of sweetness. Tropical fruit stands up as the beer warms.
Feel: No complaints. Good to go.

Overall - I'm impressed. Truer to style than not.

Almost a hybrid American Barleywine and Double IPA. Quite viscous, and almost syrupy. Some residual sweetness, but well supported my monster hop bitterness. Nice sinuous, resiny American hop flavor and aroma profile.

Poured from a 22 oz bomber into an IPA glass.

Color is crystal clear gold with a thick, fluffy white head. Excellent retention and lacing. Smell is
juicy and citrus - like ruby red grapefruit juice. Floral, piney hops are also present. Flavor is an explosion of citrus on the palate, followed by sweet syrup with an alcohol bite, finishing with a lingering, pleasant bitterness. Body is medium-full with moderate carbonation and some hop resin oiliness.

Overall, a delicious, balanced DIPA. I personally like a little less sweetness, but this is an excellent example of the style that I think would be approachable for non hop-heads. Even at 100 IBU.
