"Our special NW Style IPA is created for Pickathon. This refreshing summer brew starts with organic pilsner and caramel malt. These grains establish the perfect back drop for our locally grown hops. A heavy dose of Cascade, Centennial, Palisade and Summit hops create a resinous, citrus hop aroma and flavor".
Gowler into a pint glass
6% abv 75 ibus
Appearance- Clear golden straw color. White head, little Lacing. 4.5/5
Smell- Grassy hop aroma with a small caramel backbone. Some citrus and lemon as well. 4/5
Taste- Grassy hop taste with a small caramel malt taste. Good bitterness. Some astringency to it, though. Good and dry finish. 4/5
Mouthfeel- thin, but not "watery". I prefer my IPAs to be more on the thin side. 4/5
Overall- Good summer beer. I prefer their regular IPA to this one. This has some astringency to it that kinda turns me off. The funny thing about this is that it actually gets better as it warms up. Maybe because the malts come out and balances the hops a little. 4/5
