Served from bottle in to a COAST Willi. Poured a massively dark brown basically black with a half finger light khaki head. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, earth, dark chocolate, and earth hop. The flavor was of roasted malt, earth, earth hop, dark chocolate, subtle milk chocolate, and very subtle coffee. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. There was really quite a bit going on in this one in both the flavor and aroma aspects. It was fairly well balanced and quite easy to drink throughout the entire bomber. If you are a fan of the style and like lighter and easy to drink stouts, you owe it to yourself to try it at least once.

Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, dry hops, hint of roasted malt, hint of oatmeal, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of alcohol, hint of dark citrus, faint hint of liquor, hint of hop, and a hint of yeast. Overall, good appearance and feel. The aroma is good but standard, while the body is complex, unique, and well-blended.
