Our altbier is crafted after the authentic, or sticke, style that originated in Germany. It is extremely malty, aggressively hoppy and cold conditioned for a clean, smooth finish.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber color capped by a couple of inches of foam; good stickage and lacing patterns
Smell: Caramel and earthy hop
Taste: Caramel forward, with the earthy hops building in the middle; fairly clean finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A bit too hoppy for the style, in my opinion, but it is a nice drinker nevertheless
Thanks, stevensond, for the opportunity
