Poured from a 12oz can.

Bright copper with a creamy head that drops to a thin lace. Aroma is malty with caramel and dark bread. Hint of floral hops in the nose too. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Crisp, lively carbonation with a medium-bodied. Big malty, sweet backbone featuring more caramel, bready, toasty, and nutty undertones. Mild hop flavors, with a thin smack of floral and citrus tucked beneath the malts. Hints of bubblegum. Grainy, biscuity finish.

If you're looking for a malty Märzen in a can, look here. It's good, but I'd like to see an extra kiss of Noble hops and a cleaner malt finish.

Poured a clear reddish amber body with a one finger off-white head. It looks quite nice and very inviting. Scents of moderate toasted malt, lager yeast and sweet German malt. A classic, malt forward, clean Oktoberfest aroma. Very true to style. Flavor begins medium sweet with a clean German malt character and a light toasted malt character. This moves into a middle that is lightly sweet with medium toasted malt character, a present, though lighter German malt character and a bit of a yeasty bread and biscuit flavor. Finish is medium-dry with a high toasted malt character, a moderate nuttiness and a bit of biscuit-like malt. Aftertaste is nutty and toasted malt with some grainy malt present. Overall impression of taste is a malty, decently complex lager that is still clean and crisp. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation and a creamy feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a classic Oktoberfest. Quit nice. Overall this is a nice Oktoberfest. It is classic and true to style in all areas and is quite nice to drink. It doesn't standout, but it is a solid example of the style.

Pour is amber/gold with a nice malted coffee color head. Good lacing down glass. Smell is of hops, malt, and a little sugar cookie or sweets. Taste is outstanding, very solid mix of malt and citrus with mild hops inside and a little nutty flavor in there but minimal. Finish is very smooth and clean, lasting malt taste on tongue and pleasing overall. I give their 2016 very high praise, this is a great beer.

Pretty good Marzen, from a local brewery for me. I like that they keep things traditional, and it is brewed well, very clean. Has a good malty flavor, but possibly lacking in depth or some of the layers I've found in other examples of the style.

A very clear copper, with a half finger of quickly dissipating head. Mild amount of bubbles rising. No lacing. The aroma has a vegetal quality that I've never gotten from a Marzen, so, not too enthused, with that. Beyond that, some caramel malt, and bread crust. The flavor is helped because the carbonation is up front, and center. So, still get the vegetal thing, but, not nearly as bad. Some nice caramel sweetness, and a bit of bread crust. The feel is perfect carbonation. Dry, and medium-ish body. Overall, the smell, with that over cooked veggie thing is not helping, here. Get beyond that to the flavor, and it gets a bit better. The carbonation is really to my liking, full, and that helps with the body, I think. And it' fairly dry, so, get it together, and tweak out the Miller veggie influence, and you'll be doing much better.
