Got a growler of this for the weekend, and it was quite good. A clear golden amber orange color with an off-white head. Smelled malty, like buttered bread, with a hint of hops. Tasted more like the hops, in fact it was a bit bitter for my tastes but still very good. It might've felt more bitter top me because it was close to room temp. by the time we actually opened the thing. But yes, the hoppiness came through fairly strong, and there was an upfront buttery flavour to it as well. Mouthfeel was good, perhaps a bit creamy, not at all watery. Drinkability is very good, I'd say this is a good one to get a growler of that you won't get tired or full of. One thing I wanted to mention, the ABV listed here is 4.6%, and I could've sworn this batch tapped on 8/24 was 5.3%. I suppose I'll have to go back soon and check it out, then update my review.

On tap at the Bethlehem Brew Pub.

Poured a medium amber with a tan head. Floral and spicy aromas. Tastes of the same floralness and some citrus. Light malty balance. Very drinkable IPA and would make a great session beer with the low alcohol content.

The beer pours a nice golden color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is great. It has very complex malt aroma that boasts of a grainy pale and carapils malts along with a cool apricot aroma that is quite refreshing. It also has a wonderful floral hop aroma that balances nicely. The flavor is also great. It has a smooth and balanced flavor that boasts of pale malts and a citrus hop aftertaste. It seems to have multiple hop additions because it starts off floral and finishes citrousy. The mouthfeel is outstanding. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a damn good IPA. It has excellent hop and malt qualities; very balanced and flavorful. This is a great drinker.

Wow, the best brew that I have ever had from brew works (and i've had a few!)....hands down! A dark copper/reddish colour with a nice top of white foam. Aromas are very hoppy, with a nice sweet biscuity malt smell as well. The taste is quite hoppy up front with a nice biscuity maltiness in the finish. The mouthfeel is creamy, smooth, and not-at-all watery. The drinkability is excellent! After having their "hop explosion" IPA, which is nearly 6%abv, I really doubted this new brew from the brew works would be any good...well, I was very, very wrong. This is an excellent, low abv, single IPA, that reminds me of the well-balanced Masala Mama from town hall! Let's just call this one MM light!

Wonderful coffee arose from this milk stout. The smoothness contrasts beautifully with the bitterness from the roasted malt. I really like it on tap. Like most stouts, should not be served too cold as it looses its flavor.

A surprising find, while stopping in at the Bethlehem Brew Works on 02.03.05...

This dark copper, almost rusted reddiosh brew presented before me with a solis head which left a light, yet sticky lace along the sides of the glass throughout the pint. A welcome sight... The aroma was a complex balance of malty, almost sweet bready goodness, mixed with a solid helping of hops. The flavor followed suit, and while the hops were immediately present, the malty body really balanced out the flavor of this brew. Smooth and creamy on the palate, this is one I would not hesitate to have again and again... A very, very good brew...
