The beer pours a pale gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a fruity pale malt and yeast aroma with lots of esters and a slight earthiness; no sign of alcohol. The taste is great! It has an excellent malt flavor that is enhanced with the fruity esters in the finish. It goes down smooth with a earthy finish. This is a tastey tripel. The mouthfeel is good. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a tremendous beer. It's a highly drinkable tripel, well brewed and easy drinking.

Comes out a very clear golden color, very similar to the valley golden and devil's hearth belgian pale. Small white head that stays for a bit and leaves some lacing. Visibile carbonation floating up from the bottom of the glass.
Smell is surprisingly bready. Lots of dough and a healthy dose of yeast fruitiness in there as well. I like the direction that they took this in, probably using a significant amount of biscuit malt. Im glad this isn't another american 'belgian-style' sugar bomb.
Taste is similar, bready and fruity, but lacks the complexity that a really fantastic tripel has. Still good, don't get me wrong, but there doesn't seem to be any mystery hidden in this one.
Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, nice carbonation level, keeps things drinkable. This is one of the better beers i have had at BBW. They seem to really have their heads on straight when it comes to belgian style brewing, i just wish i would have had the oppurtunity to try the kriek.
