On tap at the Bethlehem Brew Works Brew Pub.

Poured a medium and clear yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of grass, lightly floral, and sweet malts. Tastes of the same floralness with some grass and lightly sweet. Thinner body.

Pale golden with a nice white head that lasts and leaves adequate lacing as well. Aromas are of clean, crisp german hops, nice, light bready malts and a hint of lemon. The taste is very crisp and clean with the light hops up front and the biscuity maltiness in the middle. The finish is a nice blend of the two with a nice lemon zing in the mix as well. The mouthfeel is very light, bubbly, and refreshing as it should be. The drinkability, is also very good. A four-star version all around. Not the best Kolsch out there, but solid and very consistent batch to batch. Recommended.

A very, very fine offering from the Brothers Fegley at the Bethlehem Brew works...

A very straw pale golden color with a thick and bubly head was present from the word go. This thing just looked effervescent, and it certainly was that. The nose was good and malty, but not as sweet as some may initially think or expect. The flavor carried over with that malt, but was very pallatable. The only downside, as with a good number of Kolsches, is that they can be a bit abbrasive on the palate, which this one was, to a degree. Still, a fantastic brew, and one that I am glad to have had the chance to try.
