Served from the bottle into a pilsner glass.

A- Poured a clear light golden color with visible carbonation, big soapy bright white head that left chunky lace.

S- Very clean and crisp pilsner with floral, lemon, bready, grassy, pepper, and pilsner malt notes.

T- Floral, bready, pilsner malt, lemon, grassy, peppery, spicy notes, with a hint of a vanilla and caramel sweetness on the finish.

M- Semi-dry, smooth, prickly carbonation, crisp, refreshing, and medium to lighter body.

O- A very clean and crisp pilsner with a big traditional noble hop character with moderate bitterness.

This is the best beer I have ever had. Period. It inspired me to create an account on BeerAdvocate for the simple purpose of spreading the positivity about this deliciously clean brew. Granted, I am partial to Czech-style pilsners, but this one knocked it out of the park. My only regret is trying it knowing full well it won't come near New York any time soon. Guess I'll be booking my next flight to Oregon sooner than I expected -- just for this beer.

Attractive big pile of foam in the Peroni lager glass. Thick and long-lasting suds, bubbles streaming. This is more thick-bodied than crisp. Plenty of carbonation in the mouth.

Flavor is jammy and tastes like it's flavored with something. Resiny hop bitterness. Dank finish with a quite bitter aftertaste. There is something gummy about it. Cereal taste with some acidic notes.

This does not seem like a very good example of a Pilsner. It's a nondescript light beer that fails to be refreshing. Price was an eyebrow-raising $6.69 for the 22 oz bottle purchased at Bine & Vine in San Diego.

Golden, almost translucent. Thick & sudsy head adds to the overall mouthfeel. Lacing all over the glass. Sweet aroma with a very faint hint of apples/lemon, then earthy/spicy hops. Thick and sweet in the mouth with a very dry finish. Sweet like honey, lemon flavor adds nice acidity. Sharp hop bitterness at the end, perfect balance. Was excited to try this after loving their Hefeweizen last year. Heater-Allen really knows how to brew lagers. Try'em if you can find'em!

Poured from a standard pressure-cap bomber into a pint glass. Reviewed live.

A- One-finger white head. Fluffy and decent retention. Semi-cloudy straw-colored body. Clarity is relatively high. Sticky white lacing. Fine looking beer.

S- Some fragrant floral hops and tad of grassiness. Floral and fruity. Best pilsner aroma I've ever had.

T- Slightly fruity and biscuity. Not super complex flavors, but some bitter hop backbone. Pretty nice, I would enjoy this on a hot day.

M- Surprisingly full-bodied and wet. Carbonation is pronounced.

O- Best Pilsner I've ever had.
