Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped bottle into a Cigar City snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Pours no head. Kind of flat with a layer of big, coarse bubbles floating atop a clear, goldenrod brew. Lacing is non-existent but with nice, oily, slick legs. Barely average.
Nose has hints of cold press coffee, some lemon zest, peat and a light toasted malt bitterness. Strange.
Opens lemon zest, cobwebs and oak. Coffee tartness is apparent but doesn't dominate the flavor profile more citrus rind, peat and soil towards the end. Finishes yeasty and aggressive. Tart, dry aftertaste. Like the nose, very very strange.
Light bodied with low carbonation. Slick and oily in the mouth and dry and puckering going down. Dry finish with a filmy, oily aftertaste. Decent.
Certainly one of the weirdest beers that I've ever had. Not bad... but it takes some getting used to for sure.

A promising beer ruined by the flatness. The aroma has nice, natural coffee to it and the flavor avoids pitfalls of excessive sourness. The body is right but it's just dead and lacking liveliness without some carbonation.

This was a really good sour.
Definitely not a screwed up/infected coffee beer as some folks have joked.
It pours a light yellow color with lots of carbination.
Tastes like the base to all my favorite sours. Not much, if any coffee which is great with me.
Fuzzy feel on the tongue.
Surprisingly great beer from O'So. I'm buying more!!!
