Poured from 750 mL bottle into tulip.
A: Pours an interesting brownish orange/yellow hue with extreme haziness and 1-2 inch foamy finely-bubbled head with excellent retention.
S: Freshly cut pineapple with orange, lime, passion fruit, and hints of other citrus and tropical fruits. Toasted grain around the edges. Very juicy!
T: Juicy pineapple, orange, passion fruit, papaya, lime, and lemon with stronger toasted rye and oak. Not sure if I like the rye note, but the rest is very nice.
M: Medium body. Extremely juicy and pulpy feel. Loads of tropical and citrus sweetness softened by rye and oak.
D: Definitely an interesting and well constructed brew. The rye note might create divided responses.

Served in a stemless wineglass from a 750ml bottle.
Appearance: Dark super hazy body amber body with a medium to full carbonation creating a head rising roughly almost two fingers length off the body.
Smell: Has a salty/sour aroma with hints of lemon. A slight wood like feel which reminisces hints of whiskey to the nostrils.
Taste: From the beginning you taste soft sour taste with hints of lemon skin and hard yellow grapefruit.
Mouth: Sticky finish with medium to heavy carbonation. Touch sour which definitely offsets the malts.
Overall: Good brew, different in many aspects which includes the distinct stickiness and deep semi sweet bitterness. If you can grab two, granted this is a rare beer of the month club exclusive. Salud!

Interesting IPA from a brewery that’s new to me. Wasn’t quite what I was expecting from a NE style IPA. No date printed on bottle. Looked different - sort of a murky muddy brown-yellow color with a little fluffy off-white head and some spotty lingering lacing. Smells of some ripe melon, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and peach. Also some malt, caramel, vanilla and bread. Taste follows the nose, fairly muted hops and a little too muddled for me. Not very juicy and certainly didn’t seem NE style. Decent IPA though. Smooth mild very slightly thin mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Not really my cup of tea, so a little disappointing.
