A rather neat summer style bottle design hints that this is a lighter, summer style brew. This beer starts off with pouring a clear, goldenrod color with an average head that disappears rather quickly. It definitely delivers that traditional Belgian style scent of yeast, wheat and citrus mixed with floral tones. The scent is very inviting indeed. It is exactly what you expect a Belgian style brew to taste like. Initially I found the yeast and wheat in the taste and as drinking progressed, out came the citrus and hibiscus tones. It’s very mellow and refreshing however it does lack in its texture a little bit; perhaps a bit more yeast would help that out. Has a weak after taste as well that could use some work. It was interesting to find an O’so beer that I have never seen or heard of before. O’so is better known for The Big O, Night Train, and Hopdinger. That being said I was happy to find a lesser known brew to try and review. Definitely a well made beer, perhaps not fantastic but still rather good.

On tap. Golden color. No head or lace.
Tastes like sour notes and apples. Tart. Odd. Not bad, just not what I expected from a Belgian Ale.
Light to medium body.

Tastes more like a sour than a Belgian blonde. Not a bad beer just not what I expected.

Wasn't expecting a sour brett beer. The label description of Belgian Style Blond is super misleading. I was really in the mood for some Trappist-influenced blond beer. Trying to put aside the disappointment of false expectations. The tartness apparently comes from rose hips. It is not super sour but is sour enough that the lightly bitter finish is an unwelcome clash. The brett in the aroma is unmistakeable, leathery, like a variety of Old Spice. This isn't the beer I wanted and is not one I likely will try again. After one sip, I'm just not begging for another.

Pours a very hazy/cloudy yellow golden color with white head. Belgian style yeast, spice, wheat, cereal grain, and some light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with more fruit and wheat.

I picked up this single 12oz brown bottle as part of a build-your-own six pack at the Binny's store in Bloomingdale, IL. $9.99 for six, so $1.67 for a single bottle. No freshness date. The label describes this as a Belgian blonde.
The beer poured a murky yellow pear color and did not produce any head - just a rim of white foam on top that dissipated quickly. I didn't get any lacing either. Not a very pretty beer to look at.
Not much smell to this either. There's a little Belgian yeast and fruit with some mild herbal and floral hops underneath.
Tinally some good things to say. The taste is good. Actually getting some wheat flavor (which would account for the cloudiness), along with Belgian yeast, lemon, and orange flavors. Herbal and flowery hops add some balance,
Surprisingly thick and full bodied for a summer beer, yet it still manages to be refreshing with the moderately high carbonation.
Not much to look at or smell, but it's really tasty. I like it.
