Dark brown, clear beer with a thin, mocha head. No lacing on the glass.
Nose: Caramel, roasted malt, fudge, licorice, nuts and some vanilla.
Taste: Chocolate, caramel, syrup, roasted malt, coffee and bread.
Mouth: Medium body. Light carbonation. Sweet and light in the middle but dry at the end.
A easy drinking stout but for me a little bit to light and sweet.
The colour is deep deep brown, almost black, the finger thick compact beige head sinks down leaving no lacing.
The smell is dry and roasted, almost burned. Roasted nuts, ripe red fruits and a touch of liquorice.
The dry taste is very smooth with passing coffee, charcoal, grilled meat and cream candy. Medium body. The aftertaste got some alcohol, mild clean bitterness, red berries and some black malt sourness. The long finish is fruity with some liquorice.
The carbonation is medium strong, the many small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth.
