The colour is amber - brass, the liquid is almost clear. The low head is white.
The smell is somewhat brett-funky with some tart fruits, minerals and red malt.
Passing notes of red fruits (ripe raspberries) starts the taste. Some tart minerals, balanced clean bitterness and a hint of cedar tree. Medium body. The aftertaste got slowly growing sweetness with notes of cookies, ripe red fruits/berries and brown bread. Digestive crackers and fresh bread in the finish.
The carbonation is light; the small short-lived bubbles are smooth. The liquid is somewhat tart.
A pleasant strong bitter, but I had hoped for some more malt sweetness.
