A: The liquid is golden yellow and crystal clear. A thin pale white head forms at first but quickly dissolves. Almost no lacings on the glass. The carbonation is visible as small bubbles.
S: The most dominant smell comes from the malts. The hops are present, but in the background. My guess is that some Classic UK and German lager hops have been used. A bit of oatmeal at the end.
T: Tastes dried hay, oatmeal, peppery yet mild hops and some oat cookies. I can also find a bit of honey. Peppery hops are dominant at the end.
M: For a 5% ABV beer it has a very round body. I would say medium bodied with a nice oily texture. Carbonation is low to medium.
O: It has a typical malt profile for a beer from Ocean. It is a classic lager but more elegant than most. I found it to pair very well with salty food. I had it with pickled herring (something we Swedes eat a lot of during the summer).
