When pouring the beer as the golden yellow. It has a thin white foam sized bubbles. The foam disappears rather quickly, leaving no trace. It met with little malt. sweetness and a little thin hops. There is a great deal caramel aroma, a little buttery. Then you will find a little orange, apple SMAT little bit earthy tones of hay and grass. The beer has a bit of floral scent, and honey. The flavors of malt sultry and easily marked bitterness. Then comes butterscotch masse, some fruits of orange, apricot and passion fruit. A good balance but little buttery. The sweetness is in the background with little flowers, hay and grain, some bitterness in the end which hangs around for a while. The body is medium to full-bodied of butterscotch. Carbonation is medium to strong, lots of tiny bubbles. The fluid is a semi-soft and dry. Some bitterness at the end to hang on.

A: The liquid is clear and golden. No sign of carbonation. The head is pale white, foamy and high. The head eventually goes down to a thin layer leaving nice lacings on the glass.

S: Smells pale ale malts, quite a bit of honey, biscuits and hops with a very flowery note.

T: Starts off with flowery hop tones. Nice and delicate bitterness at the end. Biscuit malts and honey tones forms the base for this beer. I also find some grassy tones. Very well balanced.

M: Light in body, but not bland at all. Medium carbonation. Very drinkable and fresh.

O: Very drinkable. A perfect companion when watching football (soccer) in a sportsbar. It has the typical malt tones that I find in most of the beers from Ocean.

The colour is deep yellow (6 EBC), the liquid clear. The high off-white compact head slowly sinks leaving some lacing.

The smell is sweet and hoppy. Some fruits (apricots, orange peels, red apples), hay and grass. Somme smooth bitterness and a touch of alcohol.

The taste is rather bitter. Lots of hay and some cereals. Some sweetness in the background as well as dough and bread. Dried flowers, tree sap and hints of vegetables. The aftertaste got some yeast, herbs and hoppy flowery flavours. The finish is dry and bitter with some alcohol.

The carbonation is quite strong, lots of very small bubbles. The liquid is semi-smooth and dry.

A hoppy and bitter pale ale with a notable spicy house-flavour of Oceanbryggeriet.

A slightly hazy brass colored beer, a white head that leaves no lacing.

The smell is fresh, citric - lemon and oranges, and good aroma hops.

The taste is upfront somewhat sweet, honey and fructose, lemon curd and a finishing dryness.

A low carbonation, somewhat watery - or refreshing ...

Really good for being a flirt with the normal "stor stark" soccer crowd ..

A: Pale golden, small white head. Looks more like a lager than ale.

S: Malt sweetness, light touch of fruitiness and hops. Nothing special.

T: Sweet and bitter. The bitterness are present during the whole taste sensation and is there for a long period of time after swallowing. There are some spices there also, some kind of pepper for sure.

O: Would have been great if I discovered more flavors, but the bitterness is far overwhelming. Okay, but nothing more.
