The brew is clear pale amber or almost brass colored, has an off-white small head, no lacing.
The smell is floral, grass, nettles, hay but also a bit damp moss.
The taste starts with toffee and brown bread nuances, ripe pears and apples followed by an old hay bitterness.
Very low carbonation, a soft texture but a small body. A light dry finish.
This was a real cask that had peaked, so it got a solid average rating, want to return to it at a better timing.
